Terms of Service
Version 2026-09-24, in force from 24 September 2026
These terms apply when you use Paatya (paatya.net): as an academy owner or admin who runs an academy on it, or as a learner who studies in one. By creating an academy or activating an account you agree to them.
1. Your academy
An academy owner is responsible for the academy, its courses and its content, and for the people it invites. You must have the right to publish everything you upload, and you must not use Paatya for anything unlawful, harmful or misleading.
2. Pay as you go
Paatya has no subscription and no setup fee. An academy adds balance in advance and is charged from it for what it uses: active learners, video storage and video streaming, at the rates published on the website on the day the usage happens. GST is added to each recharge, and a tax invoice is issued for it.
When the offer is running, an academy's first successful recharge earns bonus credit. Bonus credit is used before paid credit, cannot be refunded and has no cash value.
An academy with no balance can sign in and set itself up, but cannot add courses, students or enrolments until it recharges. If the balance runs out later, a short grace period follows, after which videos and new learners pause until the academy recharges.
3. Refunds
Unused paid credit may be refunded on request, less any amount already used. Refunds go back to the original payment method. Bonus credit is never refunded.
4. Learners
A learner's account belongs to the academy that invited them. The academy decides which courses a learner can see and may deactivate their account. Questions about a course go to the academy.
5. Suspension
We may suspend an academy that breaks these terms, puts others at risk, or leaves invoices unpaid. Where we can, we will tell the owner first and say why.
6. Changes
We may change these terms. A new version gets a new version number, and you will be asked to accept it. Rate changes apply from the date they are published and never to usage that has already happened.
