An online classroom for teachers and tutors
Private tutors and subject teachers: put your lessons, notes and tests in your own online academy, and pay only for the students who study each month.
Last updated 16 October 2026
Paatya gives a private tutor or subject teacher an online academy of their own, at its own web address and with their own name and colours. Your recorded lessons, notes and tests live there, your students sign in to your academy, and you see how each of them is doing. There is no monthly subscription.
Teach the way you already do
- Recorded lessons students can rewatch before a test, resuming at the exact second they stopped.
- Notes and worksheets as PDFs, slides or links on each topic, downloadable or view-only.
- Quizzes at the end of a topic, with a pass mark, a time limit and a number of attempts, marked straight away with your explanations.
- Free lessons a new student can try before they join.
Know who is keeping up
Each student's page shows the topics they have watched, for how long, and every quiz attempt. Export it when a parent asks. Course health shows where most students stall, so you know what to go over again.
Your students, not a marketplace's
Students join your academy: you add them one by one or from a spreadsheet, or switch on sign-up so they can join themselves. You collect fees the way you do today, by UPI or cash, and enrol the students who have paid. Paatya never handles your students' money.
What it costs
There is no monthly subscription and no setup fee. You add credit in advance, from ₹1,000, and pay only for three things: each student who signs in or studies in a month, the video you keep stored, and the video your students stream. Students who don't study that month cost nothing, and adding courses, students and admins is free. See the live rates and a cost calculator.
Your first recharge earns 20% extra credit.
