Teach music online with your own academy

Record a lesson once, let every student practise along with it, and keep your students under your own name.

Last updated 16 October 2026

With Paatya, a music teacher gets an online academy of their own: your recorded lessons, practice notes and quizzes in one place, at your own web address. Students watch a lesson as often as they need to practise it, and you see who is keeping up. There is no monthly fee — you pay only for the students who study in a month and the video they watch.

Lessons students can practise with

  • Video lessons with chapters, so a student can jump straight to the passage they are practising.
  • Pick up where they left off: every student resumes the exact second they stopped.
  • Notation and practice sheets attached to each lesson as PDFs.
  • Short quizzes on theory, scales or listening, marked automatically.

For one teacher or a whole school

Start on your own, then add other teachers as admins as you grow. Group students into batches by level and enrol each batch on its course in one step. When a student completes a level, they get a certificate with your name and signature.

How students pay you

Students pay you the way they do today, and you enrol the ones who have paid. Paatya does not take a cut of your fees.

What it costs

You are charged per student who studies in a month, plus video storage and streaming. A month nobody practises costs only the storage. As of October 2026, a teacher with 30 active students and a few hours of lessons spends about ₹1,600 a month. Use your own numbers on the pricing page.
